How does Natick's budget get developed and approved?
In consultation with NPS Administrators, the Town Administrator presents budget recommendations for consideration to the Finance Committee.
Separately, the School Committee and Board of Selectmen make their own recommendations.
It is then the responsibility of the Finance Committee to consider these positions and make its recommendation to Town Meeting.
Finally, Town Meeting members will cast votes to approve or not approve the Finance Committee's recommendations.
