NPS submitted this memo indicating the way the schools would like to use some of the money allotted to the Town of Natick. There are differences in what was requested by NPS and the final application submitted.
The Cares Act application was submitted by the town on June 12th.
The Town of Natick requested a total of $2,981,936 of the $3,194,228 we were allotted for FY20 and FY21. The application indicates there will be further opportunities to request additional funds up to the ceiling allotted.
Funds were requested in these categories. Sums for list in bold. First Responder - overtime, staffing etc.*
Telework capacity - infrastructure and subscriptions for meetings, laptops*
PPE for first responders, grocery store workers, gas station attendants
Sanitation and refuse collection*
Food inspection*
Cleaning/disinfection for public buildings
