Dr. Alicia's Weekly Blast - 5/26

Dear Friends, You guys - the PNF FB page has over 1100 members! I mean, I’ve been on FB for about 10 years and I can barely scratch 300. That’s testament to how many people LOVE Natick and are stepping up in this recent budget crisis.

Here’s what PNF has been up to this week:

  • We launched our website! https://www.protectnaticksfuture.com/ And since none of us at PNF know anything about search optimization...you’re going to have to just click that link (or type in the URL) to find us.

  • Ms. Emily has more educational videos for us! If you’re as confused as I am about some of this budget talk, Ms. Emily has your back. Links are below in the Learning Center.

  • We’re pushing the GET OUT TO VOTE - All the info you need to register and vote can be found in the “How Can I Help” section below

We’ve narrowed our message - Let’s close this budget gap with cuts for both the school and municipal sides that areSAFE, SHARED and REVERSIBLE!

Here’s a reminder of what you can find in each newsletter:

  • HOW CAN I HELP - Read this section for quick, easy ways to contribute and links to town meetings.

  • TOWN MEETING LINKS - Do you hate tracking down Zoom links as much as I do? Well, they’re all right here!

  • LEARNING CENTER - Confused about what the h*** is going on? Us too! Check out the learning center if you want more information about town committees, budgets, and town politics.

  • WHAT’S NEXT - See what we are planning for the weeks and months to come.

  • SHOUT OUTS - Just a place for us to “cheers” some of the people making this possible

Questions? Just want to say hi? Shoot us an email! ProtectNaticksFuture@gmail.com

Login to Town Meetings this Week - URGENT!

We are now logging in as “NAME (PNF).” For example, I will be logged in as “Alicia Lynch (PNF)”. Even if you’re not listening to the whole meeting, just having your name on that screen sends our town’s elected and hired officials a message! Below is a list of meetings this week (click here).

Kennedy Parents (past, present, and future) - Sign our Petitions!

  1. Here’s our letter to the Select Board, asking that the cuts that must be made are SHARED between the schools and municipal.

  1. Here’s our letter to the School Committee, asking that the cuts that must be made prioritize safety and do not pack more kids into a classroom when we are being asked to spread out.

Dear Friends, I’m not sure what I’m more excited about this week - seeing what the Town Administrator’s budget (due on 6/8 to the Board of Selectmen) holds for us, or finishing season 3 of Ozarks. Whi
